Emotions, Color, Light.  They all flow from somewhere deep
inside me, to land as feelings, with paint, on paper.  I find total
joy, and passion, as I let myself be drawn into the painting.  It is
therapeutic and calming and such a wondrous journey.

When I have finished a painting, I feel a sense of healing and
renewal.  Each of my watercolors have a part of me woven into
them and that is what I hope to have others ‘feel’, when they look
at them.  If my works stir an emotion within an observer, then the
paints and I have accomplished our purpose.

I am self taught and very eclectic.  I follow where the paints
lead me, and I often find myself traveling down a road that I hadn’t
even realized was there.  I find extreme pleasure in teaching
others and helping them to discover the wonderful freedom and
magic of painting watercolors.  They allow one’s mind to fly free
of encumbrance, if only for a little while.
