Cliff Gleason was born and grew up in Worcester, Mass.
His profession as a minister has taken him to various parts of the
country: Rhode Island, Connecticut, Cape Cod, the Shenandoah
Valley of Virginia, western Oregon, and now the Lakes Region of
New Hampshire.  He began painting about 26 years ago when he
took a watercolor class from Geri Cantliffe in Meriden, Conn.  He
fell in love with the medium and has stayed with it exclusively.
He has studied under other teachers, including two weeks with
John Hewitt on the California coast at Mendicino.  Most recently
he participated in Skip Lawrence’s watercolor workshop on the
coast of Maine.  Cliff has been teaching watercolor to children
and adults for eight years.
Watercolor is his medium of choice because of the way
colors blend on the paper.  The water does the work.  Creative
things can happen so effortlessly at times.  They dry fast and
consequently the results of his work can be enjoyed quickly.  It
seems to be the perfect medium for highlighting the beautiful
landscapes and flowers that God has designed.
He is member of the Artisans Gallery in Tilton, NH.  You
may contact him directly at cliffgleason@yahoo.com or by phone
at 603-520-3007.   He is the pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist
Churches in Concord and Laconia.
